Grow Fragrace Air + Fabric Freshener (100% Plant-Based) Review

Hello again, Veganeers!

I’m thrilled to start doing product reviews again, and I’m so excited to share this product with you!

Now more than ever, people are looking for healthier options for everything from the food they eat (go vegan!), the products they put on their body, to household cleaning items. There’s absolutely no need to use harmful, toxic chemicals and that’s why I’m so impressed with Grow Fragrance Air + Fabric Freshener!

This product is Leaping Bunny Certified 🐇 and made with 100% Plant-based ingredients. This is SO important when it comes to protecting yourself and your family from skin and respiratory irritants found in typical air and fabric fresheners (Febreeze, who?!). Why put chemicals into your body if you don’t need to?

I am always concerned about what my little dogs are being exposed to, so if you have fur babies or human babies 👶 in your home, please pay attention to the products you are using!

Now, onto the actual review!

I am a huge fan of the sleek, minimal, nature-inspired packaging of this spray! I selected the limited- edition Pine Forest scent to make my home smell like a holiday paradise, and I must say I ADORE this scent! The pine scent is fresh, natural, and authentic (no Pinesol, here!). After a couple of sprays – shake it up before you use it- I wasn’t sure if I was in my living room watching Youtube or lost in a forest! Really though, this spray did a great job covering up doggie odors and even the smell from the garlic tomato sauce I ate for dinner (does this also refresh garlic breath?!). So, as far as air fresheners go, it works and I love it!

This product certainly freshens the air, but what about fabrics?

To find out, I sprayed one of my knee-high boots (faux leather with fabric lining) that I stopped wearing because, well, they smelled pretty funky. 3 sprays later, I can say this product definitely works as a fabric refresher! (My one smelly boot was jealous, so I sprayed that one, as well).

Grow Fragrance Air + Fabric Freshener really gets the job done and has become one of my favorite products! I will definitely continue to use this to add some holiday spirit to the air and to de-funkify gym shoes, dog beds, etc.

Thank you, Grow Fragrance, for sending me this product to review!

These Wiggle Biscuits are absolutely adorable! They’re small, crunchy heart-shaped treats that contain all natural ingredients that are great for your little fur baby!

Peanut butter provides protein, fiber and biotin, and flaxseed provides omega-3s, vitamin E and is an anti-inflammatory. Banana packs these little biscuits with potassium and electrolytes and coconut oil helps your dog’s skin stay healthy and adds Vitamin K and choline!

Right out of the bag, you can smell the cinnamon which really helps to reduce stinky dog breath! You can’t get all of these benefits in an everyday dog treat! These are truly special and your dog deserves the best!

The Bottom Line

I have been a huge fan of V-Dog for awhile now. If you haven’t already, check out my review of their Kinder Kibble and Breathbones (the green bones pictured above).

Our dogs are part of the family and deserve to have tasty treats that not only taste great, but helps then live healthier lives. My dogs go crazy over these treats… so crazy that I couldn’t get a good picture this time around!  I highly recommend V-Dog treats and look forward to hearing how much your dog loves them too!

California has passed The Pet Rescue and Adoption Act, which requires pet stores to exclusively sell rescue animals! Way to go, California!

This is a huge win for animals! With the amount of animal surrenders, homeless pets and euthanization rates on the rise, California has passed bill 485 which will ban the sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits from puppy mills, kitten factories, and mass breeding operations.

All animals sold in pet shops must come from animal shelters, rescues, or adoption centers! This will greatly reduce the amount of animals in shelters and increase adoptions significantly! This change will take place by January 2019.

Congratulations, California! Which state will be next?

V-Dog Kinder Kibble and Breathbones Review

Company: v-Dog Vegan Dog Food and Healthy Dog Treats

Products: V-Dog Kinder Kibble Mini Bites – 4.5 lbs –  $19.99 USD

V-Dog Breathbone Minis – $11.99 USD

Review:

Did you know that dogs, just like humans, can thrive on a plant-based diet?! I have been wanting to order the V-dog vegan dog food for awhile now, and am so happy that the company sent a bag of their Kinder Kibble Mini Bites and Breathbones for my little pups to try out!

The Kinder Kibble is packed with protein and vitamins to keep your dog happy, healthy, and energetic! Take a look at the ingredients below:

OUR “ANIMAL-FREE” INGREDIENTS
Dried Peas, Pea Protein, Brown Rice, Oatmeal, Potato Protein, Sorghum, Canola Oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols) , Natural Flavor, Suncured Alfalfa Meal, Brewers Dried Yeast, Dicalcium Phosphate, Flaxseeds, Millet, Calcium Carbonate, Lentils, Peanut Hearts, Quinoa, Sunflower Chips, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Choline Chloride, Taurine, Dried Carrots, Minerals (Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Sodium Selenite, Manganese Sulfate, Calcium Iodate), Dl-methionine, Dried Parsley, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Niacin Supplement, D-calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin D2 Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hyrdochloride, Biotin, Folic Acid), L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (A Source Of Vitamin C), Preserved with Citric Acid, Preserved with mixed Tocopherols, Dried Blueberries, Dried Cranberries, Dried Celery, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Dried Lettuce, L-carnitine, Dried Watercress, Dried Spinach, Rosemary Extract. Store In A Cool, Dry Place.

As you can see, this kibble provides all of the protein, vitamins, and minerals that your dog needs!

So… it is healthy, but how did my dogs like it?

My dogs, Bubbles and Minnie, get very little people food, so when they get a new dog food or treat, they get veryexcited. I tried to get them to pose like little dog food models to get the perfect picture, but I think the “bloopers” are pretty hilarious! (See end of post)

Both of my dogs are pretty energetic, but I did actually notice an increase in energy after they had been eating the Kinder Kibble for 4-5 days. Whenever you switch dog food, it is common that your dogs may have some digestion issues until they get used to the new food. Both of my dogs adjusted to the new food within a day or two, which is awesome! The kibble is very tiny, which makes it easy for my little pups to eat!

The Breathbone Minis were a HUGE hit! I have a very difficult time brushing my little guys’ teeth, so needless to say, their breath is a little stinky. After devouring these bones, I did notice that their breath was fresher! Take a look at the 100% plant-based ingredients:

Brown Rice Flour, Rice Flour, Vegetable Glycerin, Water, Tapioca Starch, Sweet Potatoes, Carrageenan, Pumpkin, Carrots, Calcium Carbonate, Natural Pumpkin Flavor, Cinnamon, Chia Seed, Broccoli, Parsley, Spinach, Fat Product (Natural Source of DHA from Algae), Alfalfa.

The Bottom Line

V-Dog Kinder Kibble and Breathbones are exceptional products that your dogs will LOVE! Just like with humans, vegan diets can greatly improve the health of your pooches. I noticed that my dogs were more energetic and had no issues eating this food whatsoever.

It makes me feel like a great puppy-parent knowing that I am giving my dogs food that will make them healthier. There is no need for them to eat processed dog foods that contain meat by-products and whatever else commercial dog food has in it.

V-Dog is a wonderful company that makes 100% plant-based, cruelty-free products that will enhance your dog’s life! I highly recommend the Kinder Kibble and Breathbones!

Thank you, V-Dog, for sending me these products for my dogs to try out!

Vegan Treasures from September

Heyyyy there! September is just about over, so here’s what I’ve  been loving this month!

First up is GoodBelly Probiotic Juice Drink. A few weeks ago, I was given little packets of probiotics to put in my dog’s food to help out her digestion.  Then it dawned on me that I haven’t been taking any probiotics whatsoever.  I found this drink, which is clearly labeled vegan (love that!), and it was on sale for $2.50!  I tried the Blueberry Acai flavor, which was absolutely light, fresh, sweet, and delicious!  It smells exactly like blueberry yogurt, and tastes a lot like it too.  I actually do notice better digestion and plan on getting the Mango flavor next time.

GoodBelly.com

Next, is Larabar Alt Protein Chocolate Chip Macaroon Bar.  These are made with pea protein and taste pretty good (compared to vegan protein shakes)!  I always stock up on Larabars when they’re on sale… I got these for $1 each.  I’ve made my own versions in the past, but these are so convenient.  As you can see, I stocked up.

Next up, is a pet product.  My little dogs are prone to those drippy eyes that cause them some irritation and staining of their fur.  I googled for the best eye wipes, and found Happy Tails Eye pads, which claim to clean and prevent stains as seen in pic below from the Happytailsspa.com website.  I do not use these regularly on the pups, but I do use them when they have build up or staining. The pads work well to clean the eye area if your pet will sit still to let you use them.  The staining has also improved, but I think it may be due to a change of diet, etc.  All in all, I really like this product.

I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to post a pic of my girls! 🐶🐾

Last, I’ve been feeling pretty artsy lately and found the ColorMe Coloring App for Adults.  It’s free and has a bunch of different design to “color” (pick a color and click the area you want to fill in).  It’s fun and I may actually go and buy a coloring book now! #nottoooldtocolor

Here’s a screenshot of one I’m doing now.

What have you been loving this month?
