This evening, the first-ever commercial advertising a plant-based burger will air during the Super Bowl for millions of viewers to see!
This 30-second spot humorously introduces Carl’s Jr.’s Beyond Famous Star Burger featuring the 100% plant-based Beyond Burger (just ask for no cheese or mayo to make it vegan)! If you don’t want to wait until the ad airs tonight, check it out below!
I must say, they did a great job with this! As the demand for plant-based options grows, companies like Carl’s Jr. are responding! This commercial will lead to countless people trying an animal-friendly burger and needless to say, I’M HERE FOR IT!
If you’re a frequent Whole Foods shopper, you probably know that they offer some pretty tasty vegan options at their hot bar. If you haven’t tried their chicken fried tofu, please put that at the top of your To-Do list!
Last week, Whole Foods announced that they will be launching a new, vegan menu for the holidays! The festive dishes were created by Richard Landau and Kate Jacoby, the culinary plant-based geniuses behind the super swanky VEDGE restaurant in Philadelphia.
According to VegNews, this special holiday menu will include “mustard-glazed cauliflower, lentil-mushroom stuffing, “cheesy” rutabaga and potato mash, sauerkraut-roasted rainbow carrots, and chocolate toffee miniature cake. The vegan menu will also be available to order online from November 1 until November 6, and the promo code “VEGAN” will discount the price by $5.”
I don’t know about you, but I would love to have some unique dishes this holiday season (and not have to cook it all!).
Let me know if you try out any of these new dishes!
The future of meat is Here! Memphis Meats has just released it’s “Clean Chicken”! This chicken product is… chicken, only without all of the unnecessary animal cruelty.
The chicken is basically grown in a lab, and is derived from actual chicken cells. This difference is, this meat is just a lump of meat. It is not cut off the bone of an innocent animal. It is not laden with bacteria and antibiotics. It does not contribute to irreparable damage to the environment. It is not a body part of an animal that wanted to live.
It is 100% cruelty-free… the way all food should be.
