This evening, the first-ever commercial advertising a plant-based burger will air during the Super Bowl for millions of viewers to see!
This 30-second spot humorously introduces Carl’s Jr.’s Beyond Famous Star Burger featuring the 100% plant-based Beyond Burger (just ask for no cheese or mayo to make it vegan)! If you don’t want to wait until the ad airs tonight, check it out below!
I must say, they did a great job with this! As the demand for plant-based options grows, companies like Carl’s Jr. are responding! This commercial will lead to countless people trying an animal-friendly burger and needless to say, I’M HERE FOR IT!

Do you want a simple and effective way to educate people about the animal products that they are at the store to buy?
These activism stickers from Stickers For Animals have great information and pack a punch! I was sent the #DitchDairy stickers, which are perfect to stick on milk containers, cheese or other dairy products at the store.
Stickers For Animals has 20 sticker designs addressing different aspects of veganism and animal use which can be put just about anywhere to remind and inform people of what they are actually paying for with their money. Reminding people that with that carton of milk or package of meat, they are funding the torture and slaughter of innocent animals.
Generally, people choose not to think about how their food gets to their plate, but these stickers give them a quick wake up call. Activism at it’s finest!
The Bottom Line
Stickers For Animals makes activism simple and possible for everyone that wants to make a difference. If you are able to put a sticker on something, you are able to start standing up for animals! Gone are the days of having to be the “preachy vegan”! Just put a sticker on it!
These stickers are great conversation starters, not to mention they’re made of 100% recycled materials so they’re great for the earth as well! Stick them on products, in restaurants and stores… anywhere that could use some Animal Rights info!
I highly recommend these stickers to anybody that wants to speak up for animals!
Many animal rights activism groups have recently been posting that the horrific and cruel Yulin Dog Meat Eating Festival, where thousands of dogs are brutally tortured and killed in China, has been cancelled. This is sadly not the case. Please read below for more information and get involved to help!
Marc Ching of The Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation met with the Yulin Government to speak about the ban on dog meat sales during the festival, and publications claiming the Yulin Dog Meat Festival is over.
In a direct statement from the Yulin Political Affairs Director and the Yulin Chief of Police – “There is no ban on dog meat sales during the festival as some animal rights groups have claimed.” Government officials made it very clear that they are not in support of the festival, but have expressed they can do little in regards to opposing what the people want.
Mr. Ching of AHWF also met with the Yulin Food and Drug Administration, which oversees dog meat sales and food quality control of meat within the city. In a direct statement from their officials to Animal Hope and Wellness – “There is no current or proposed ban on dog meat sales during the festival.” In an effort to speak with the people, Mr. Ching and Suki Su of AHWF went to the two largest dog meat markets, DongKuo Market and NanQiao Market. In conversations with over twenty dog meat vendors, no one had knowledge or was aware of any pending or proposed dog meat sales ban. Marc also met with the owner of one of the largest slaughterhouses in Yulin who claims the festival is still happening, and that “his” sales during the festival this year will reach over 2000 dogs. “Restaurants have already begun putting in orders, and trucks will start their travel to the province,” he stated in conversation with Mr. Ching.
One thing he did mention, is that usually this is a “sensitive time, but no one seems to be protesting like they have in prior years.” The message Mr. Ching of AHWF wants to communicate to the public, is that this is when your words matter most. “I feel so sad for the dogs that will die and suffer because of these mistruths. Usually there is huge intentional pressure before the coming days of the festival, but this year there is not. The only way we will see Yulin end, is by people continuing to stand up to speak for the animals.”
Please consider donating to the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation so that rescue missions can continue to happen!
