Aloe and Rose… sounds like the perfect toner to me!

Well, I was right! This toner soothes your skin after cleansing and also adds moisture. It has a subtle scent that smells like a sweet, floral tea that is absolutely delicious! This toner is made with 100% organic Rose Water, rose essential oil, and Aloe Vera to gently clear away any oil or make up to reveal a completely clean and healthy face! This toner is great for all skin types and I highly recommend it!

The Pitta Balancing Treatment Oil is an absolute dream for my skin! It is made to address inflammation, redness and reactivity, and sensitive skin. It smells like a bouquet of flowers and is packed with skin loving ingredients. Almond oil, Jojoba oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Argan Oil and Chammomile and Green Tea are a few of the star ingredients that make this oil so fantastic. It hydrates and calms the skin without feeling greasy or heavy.

I love using this in the morning. I wash my face, massage 3-4 drops onto my face and let in sink in as I get ready for the day. By the time I am ready to apply make up (10 minutes or so), my skin is completely moisturized and my make up applies smoothly and easily.

This oil definitely calmed and moisturized my combination/sensitive skin without causing breakouts. My skin is less red and it just generally looks healthier! I love this stuff!

The Vata Face Cream is a thick, luxurious face cream that nourishes your skin with essential oils and herbs. It smells AMAZING… light, herbal, refreshing, just trust me! It instantly hydrates to improve the texture and tone of your skin. I like to use this after the Aloe and Rose Tonic at nighttime, however, it would make the perfect daytime moisturizer as well since it is not too heavy or greasy. For a double dose of hydration, this could be used under the treatment oil.

Exfoliation is very important to healthy looking skin. Once or twice a week, use a gentle scrub to remove dead skin cells and impurities, improve circulation to give your skin a nice glow, and to improve cell turnover. The Sananda Face Polish is a nice way to do all of these things. This sugar-based facial scrub is made for acne-prone skin and removes bacteria and oil from pores for clearer skin overtime. It has an herbal/citrusy scent and oils to nourish the skin, so it will not cause dryness like typical acne-fighting treatments.

I’ve never used anything quite like the Bhana Body Scrub! It is a sea salt scrub with ground herbs and essential oils. It has a texture that’s somewhat gel-like and it’s very interesting! When you use this scrub with hot water, the scrub breaks down and does a great job removing dry skin cells and moisturizing event the most dehydrate skin. I use this on my feet and elbows, and it really did improve the look and feel of my skin. As with any scrub, its a good idea to put on a lotion or body butter afterwards. This is a unique product that is fun to use and definitely gets the job done!

The Body Butter is perfect treat for your skin. The consistency is very thick but it instantly melts and absorbs into your skin to leave it soft, smooth, and hydrated. It has a subtle scent that is fresh, clean, and herbal and it leaves a nice glowing sheen on the skin. Love it!

The Bottom Line

Jivana products are thoughtfully created with the highest quality ingredients. They effectively cleanse, hydrate and nourish the skin with natural oils, butters, and essential oils. Their range includes products for your face, body, and hair so it is simple to switch to vegan, cruelty-free products that are free of harmful chemicals and contain only the purest ingredients.

I absolutely adore how the Aloe and Rose Tonic and Pitta Balancing Treatment Oil work together to dramatically hydrate and reduce the redness in my skin. I felt comfortable leaving the house without make up and my boyfriend even told me that my skin looked better!

I highly recommend these products and look forward to trying more from this line! Head on over to their website and let me know what you think!

Thank you, Jivana, for sending me these fantastic products to review!!

LACE Pine & Peppermint Natural Deodorant Review

Company: LACE

“We all believe in natural products, without the fillers. We’re not here to greenwash our products or imply we’re selling you something we’re not. We don’t believe there should be a pink tax. We don’t think all products for women have to smell like faeries and fluff. We’re here to make real products for real people.”

Product: Pine & Peppermint Natural Deodorant

Review:

Natural deodorants can be tricky. They can be all natural but not keep you smelling nice for very long. They can keep you dry, but can also be extremely irritating.

I’m thrilled to share with you this Pine & Peppermint Natural Deodorant from LACE! It is vegan, cruelty-free, aluminum free, and smells fantastic!

The Pine and Peppermint scent instantly makes me think of wintertime and the holidays. The Peppermint perks up your senses and the Pine gives it an earthy, woodsy vibe. It’s not an overly feminine or overly masculine scent, so I think anyone can use this!

Ok, so it smells like the “most wonderful time of the year” but does it work?

YES!!!! This deodorant kept me odor-free for over 36 hours! Yes, I did go that long without showering (Writing genuine product reviews is very import to me!). Although this isn’t an antiperspirant, it also kept me dry!

My skin wasn’t irritated by this deo whatsoever and you only need 2-3 swipes per armpit! It glides on easily and clear, and you will get hints of the Peppermint and Pine scent throughout the day.

The Bottom Line

I love everything about this product! The packaging is cute and durable. The scent is fabulous and the formula really works! I absolutely recommend this product to everyone, even those with sensitive skin like me.

Thank you, LACE, for sending me this vegan, cruelty-free and naturally effective deodorant to review! I’m a huge fan!

Products:

Citrus Grove Body Scrub (10 oz.) $30.00 USD

Citrus Grove Body Butter (7.5 oz.) $22.50 USD

Reviews: I have been SO excited to give these brand new vegan/cruelty-free products from Makes Scents Natural Spa Line a try! They have been in the works for awhile, and let me tell you, they hit it out of the park! I was generously sent 2 products to review, so let’s jump right in!

First up, is the Citrus Grove Body Scrub. I love, Love, LOVE this scent! It smells like a sweet blend of oranges mixed with lemon, lime, and grapefruit. It naturally lifts your spirits and gets you energized for the day! This is a sugar-based scrub, so the sugar granules are abrasive enough to slough away dead skin cells but not too rough that it can’t be used a couple times a week. Alpha hydroxy acids from citrus fruits also help to gently exfoliate the skin. You get 10 ounces of product in a sleek black plastic jar, which is perfect for use in the shower since it won’t break if it slips out of your hands.

This scrub definitely does its job! After the first use, my skin felt soft and smooth and it had a nice, healthy glow. The scrub leaves behind a subtle scent of citrus which is absolutely lovely.

The Citrus Grove Body Butter actually blew my mind! The consistency is so thick and the texture is so smooth, I couldn’t believe it! Sunflower and coconut oil, along with cocoa butter and citrus essential oils makes this a truly luxurious and effective moisturizer to use on your freshly exfoliated skin.

This body butter melts into the skin completely and does not feel greasy whatsoever. You’re left with soft, radiant skin that smells incredible! You get 7.5 ounces of product which will last for quite some time because a little bit goes a long way.

I also used this on my feet and elbows, which are always, always dry. This body butter did a wonderful job moisturizing and bringing my skin back to life. If a product can make my dry feet look and feel better, it is a winner!

The Bottom Line

These products are fantastic! They are super luxurious and made with high quality, all-natural ingredients. I recommend these products to anyone that wants to pamper and care for their skin! They even have 2 ounce samples that you can buy to try out the line!

Thank you, Makes Scents Natural Spa Line, for sending me your brand new products to review! I’m a huge fan!

Product:

The stuff that Cupid dips his arrows in (because sometimes fate needs an assist) – Detox and Hydrating Spray for Hair/Body (4.2 fl.oz.) $18.00 USD

Review:

I am very thankful for all of the bath and body products that I get to review (it’s an awesome hobby!). Every so often a fresh and innovative company comes along that reignites my love of vegan and cruelty-free products. Not Soap Radio is one of those companies!

Their products are made with essential oils, botanicals, and herbal extracts that actually take care of your skin (Bath and Body Works, who?). Their bottles are made of recycled plastic and they practice the “farm to bottle” approach to use local ingredients to lessen their carbon footprint.

Their products are truly eye-catching with their bright colors, fun names, and hilarious descriptions! When you look at their website, you will want to try everything!

I tried their “The stuff that Cupid dips his arrows in (because sometimes fate needs an assist) – Detox and Hydrating Spray for Hair/Body”. Told ya the names of the products were fun! This Blackberry and Vanilla scented spray can be used all over the body, including your hair. This fragrance is bright and sweet like freshly picked berries. Feeling a little tired? This spray has a refreshing and energizing kick thanks to Peppermint and Ginseng extracts. It also contains Argan oil, which makes this a hydrating spray for both hair and body.

On the skin, the fragrance is light and sweet and is suitable for any occasion. You will smell hints of it throughout the day and you’ll think “Damn, I smell good!” which is always nice. I found the fragrance to be a little bit stronger when used in the hair. I liked using this as a hair fragrance most of all since that is how it was most noticeable to me. Who doesn’t want hair that smells fabulous?

These sprays can also be used as room or linen sprays. How cool is that? I love multi-functional products!

The Bottom Line

Not Soap Radio is a company that creates fun and exciting products that are animal and environmentally friendly. Their use of natural, locally-sourced ingredients puts them miles ahead of other, not so socially responsible companies.

Using their products is a genuinely enjoyable experience, thanks to their creative names, vibrant colors and fantastic scents. I am so thrilled to have tried their products and to share them with you! I highly recommend them!

Thank you, Not Soap Radio, for sending me this fragrance to review!

Thesis Beauty Skincare Review

Products:  Rose Garden Body Oil – 4 Fluid Ounces (120 ml)  – $19.95 USD

Rosemary Citrus Makeup Remover – 4 Fluid Ounces (120 ml) – $19.95 USD

West Indies Poppy Seed Facial Scrub – 4 ounces (112 grams) – $22.95 USD

Reviews:

Alright! Let’s jump right in and talk about the Rose Garden Body Oil!

The star ingredients of this antioxidant packed oil are organic cold-pressed Macadamia, Jojoba, and Rosehip oils. This oil is light and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it soft, smooth, and hydrated. I like to use it right after the shower to lock in moisture and to smell fantastic for the rest of the day!

I wish I could accurately describe how fabulous this oil smells! If I had to smell like one scent for the rest of my life, this would be it! I want to buy 5,000 bottles of this to keep in my closet, ya know, just in case! It’s fresh, light and sweet. I would have to describe the scent to be like a delicious macadamia nut cookie straight out of the oven mixed with a little fruitiness! This scent makes me feel beautiful… I know, I know beauty comes from within but girl, this stuff smells good!

This product is multitasking meaning that it can be used on your skin, in your hair and cuticles, as a massage or bath oil, and for shaving. I really like using this on the dry ends of my hair to make them look smoother and, of course, smell really nice!

The Rosemary and Citrus Makeup Remover is made with organic Jojoba, Sunflower, Apricot Kernel Oils, as well as Sweet Orange, Spearmint, and Rosemary essential oils. The scent is citrusy, herbal, and minty, and is refreshing to use at the end of a long day. I used this remover to take off my concealer, foundation, bronzer, eyebrow pencil, liquid eyeliner, eye shadow, and mascara. This remover did a good job taking off all of these products. It is gentle enough to use around the eyes and it did not dry out my skin. I always let my cleanser or remover rest for 10-20 seconds on my eyes so that it can break up my makeup without having to pull and tug at my skin and lashes. I used this method with this makeup remover, and it worked!

The West Indies Poppy Seed Facial Scrub is made with Kaolin Clay, Organic Poppy Seeds, Organic Orange Peel, Organic Rosehips, and French Green Clay. This is a powder exfoliant, so you need to mix a teaspoon of the product in the palm of your hand with a small amount of water. This scrub is very gentle on the skin, since poppy seeds are the main exfoliant, as opposed to sugar or salt scrubs. The scent is natural, sweet, and somewhat earthy smelling due to the clay. It massages easily into the skin and leaves it smooth and glowing. The clay helps to detox the skin while rosehips provide nourishment. My skin is mostly dry but has been looking a little oily lately. This scrub helped to remove excess oil and dull skin, giving me a radiant complexion!

The Bottom Line

I couldn’t recommend these products more! They are organic, all natural, and effective. The products smell WONDERFUL and perform very well! The prices are great, especially since you only need the smallest amount to work (with the exception of the makeup remover… if you wear a ton of makeup, you’ll need a little more product). The packaging is adorable. It reminds me of old school apothecary bottles with a natural, modern twist. Of course, Thesis Beauty products are vegan and cruelty-free and contain only good-for-you ingredients, I mean, what’s not to love?

Thank you so much to Thesis Beauty for sending me these products to review!
