It’s Really Vegan Complete Pancake and Waffle Mix Review

I must be honest, I haven’t had pancakes in a long, LONG time! I have very little time to cook, and the store-bought stuff is full of chemicals and other stuff I don’t want to eat, so I just kind of gave up on the idea of having pancakes. Well, I was THRILLED to find It’s Really Vegan Complete Pancake/Waffle Mix!

As the name indicates, this product is vegan, soy-free, egg-free, and dairy-free! All you need to do is add water, give the batter a quick mix, and within a few minutes on a hot skillet or griddle, you have light, airy, and golden-brown pancakes!

The Original Mix has a subtle sweetness to them so they are extra delicious! I really enjoyed these with maple syrup and fruit on top. After taking these pictures, I added some blueberries to the batter, and oh my goodness, these blueberry pancakes were better than anything I remember ordering at a restaurant! I’m in love! Here’s the full ingredient list:

They also offer a Chocolate flavor that has a subtle cocoa flavor and pairs perfectly with rich maple syrup or even chocolate chips! The chocolate flavor was just as fluffy and delicious as the Original flavor! You can check out the ingredients in the Chocolate Mix below:

The Bottom Line

If you’re vegan or just want to eat healthier, yet you don’t have a lot of time to cook, It’s Really Vegan Complete Pancake/Waffle Mix is for you! You can whip up mouth-watering, better than restaurant quality pancakes for you and your family in no time! My non-vegan boyfriend said they tasted amazing and I must agree, this mix is absolutely fabulous. I highly, highly recommend giving these a try!

Reviews:

Super crunchy biscotti pieces with Chocolate Chips? Yup! They exist and I’m loving them! Healing Home Foods’ Chocolate Chip Biscotti Bites are not too sweet and have a wonderful oven-baked flavor, which paired perfectly with my almond milk latte. They’re made with almond flour and other plant-based ingredients, so vegans and people that avoid gluten will be able to enjoy them! A handful of these and my regular cup of coffee kept me full and running ’till lunch time!

Next up, are the amazingly delicious Pizza Thins! These crispy little crackers are bursting with Italian flavors thanks to Sun-dried Tomatoes, Garlic, Basil, and Oregano! These little guys pop with tangy tomato and they’re completely addicting! I may or may not have polished off the entire bag in one sitting (I absolutely did). You will think you’re diving into a freshly baked slice of your favorite vegan pizza! I’m in love!

Last but not least, is the Almond Butter Chunk Granola! What’s not to like about big, hearty pieces of baked oats and almond butter? This raw, gluten-free granola is subtly sweet and makes a  satisfying snack or meal. It’s made with Gluten-Free rolled oats, *sprouted almonds, *maple syrup, *almond butter, gluten-free quick oats, *maple sugar, *ground flaxseed, *coconut oil, vanilla flavor, and Himalayan crystal salt. It’s so tasty, you’d never think it was raw, vegan, OR good for you!

The Bottom Line

If I had to choose one item from the list above to recommend, I would say definitely try out the Pizza Thins… or maybe the Biscotti Bites… or the granola. Haha, I don’t know, just try them all and let me know which one you like the best!

My Favorite Indulgence – World Class Granola That Tastes Like Dessert!

Company: My Favorite Indulgence

Products:

Chocolate Mocha Granola

Pumpkin Spiced Granola

Maple Cinnamon Granola

Classic Almond Granola

Reviews:

Is your morning routine missing a little something? Toast and coffee not cutting it anymore? Try My Favorite Indulgence World Class Granola! (How’d you like my infomercial impression?) These granolas are vegan and made with natural, non-GMO ingredients. There’s nothing on the labels that you won’t be able to pronounce and the flavors are incredible! Alright, let’s jump right in!

First up, is the Chocolate Mocha Granola. I love chocolate. I love coffee. I love granola. So obviously I had high hopes for this one! I was not let down! The sweet, cocoa flavor along with the crunchiness of the oats and almonds really can’t be beat! There is even a hint of cinnamon which really amps up the flavor. I paired this with almond milk and it was like eating a dessert for breakfast. I’m in love!

Next, is the Pumpkin Spiced Granola. As far as I’m concerned, Pumpkin Spiced flavored foods should be eaten year round! Some “pumpkin” flavored foods taste artificial and not very appetizing. This granola, on the other hand, is done right! It contains actually pumpkin which is the primary flavor of this granola, along with pure maple syrup, dried cranberries, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. It is subtly sweet, crunchy and tastes like pumpkin pie. It’s pumpkin perfection!

The Maple Cinnamon Granola (listed on their website as “Nut-Free Granola) is phenomenal! The sweetness from the pure maple syrup with the pleasant bitterness of the cinnamon and the crunch of the oats; this granola does not disappoint! This flavor is nut-free and perfect for someone that isn’t into “dessert” flavors like the ones above or just prefers simpler flavor profiles.

Last but not least is the Classic Almond Granola (listed on their website as “Granola With Nuts”). If you’re a traditional granola lover, this is for you! This variety contains almonds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. I’ve never had granola with all three, so I was interested to try this! Just because it is “Classic” doesn’t mean it’s boring! The blend of maple syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla along with the oats, nuts, and seeds is truly delicious!

The Bottom Line

These granolas from My Favorite Indulgence are fantastic. They’re vegan, healthy and oh-so-delicious! All of the flavors are non-GMO and make a satisfying meal or snack.  I love each and every flavor and actually couldn’t pick a favorite! I love that they come in a large 10 oz. size for home and also come in 2 oz. snack sizes to take on the go! Head on over to the My Favorite Indulgence website to check out their world-class granola!

Eat Your Coffee Bars… Delicious Vegan Bars with a Caffeine Kick!

Company: Newgroundsfood.com

Products:

Mocha Latte Coffee Bar

Coconut Mocha Coffee Bar

Caramel Macchiato Coffee Bar

Review:

Calling all coffee addicts… there’s a new kid in town! Eat Your Coffee Bars contain a cup of coffee in each bar! They’re vegan, organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, and made with fair trade coffee!

When it comes to coffee, I’m slightly (and by “slightly” I mean VERY) picky. It needs to be smooth, not too bitter, and of course, it better wake me up!

I recently started a new job that requires me to wake up incredibly early and commute about 40 minutes to get there. So, even making coffee before I leave can throw off my schedule and make me late. That’s why I am so happy to have found these Eat Your Coffee Bars! I don’t need to make my coffee, I just eat a bar!

The Mocha Latte Coffee Bar is made with dates, gluten-free oats, almond butter, and dark chocolate. It is chewy, sweet, and full of chocolate-y coffee flavor. The dark chocolate chips really amp up the mocha flavor and cashews give it some crunch, making this a seriously delicious pick me up!

The Caramel Macchiato Coffee Bar actually tastes like a fancy drink that would cost you around $7.00 at Starbucks! The sweetness of the dates and the subtle bitterness of the coffee are in perfect balance. Yum!

The Coconut Mocha CoffeeBar is my favorite! It is chewy like the others and has a sweet coconut flavor that is absolutely mouthwatering. It also has brown rice and quinoa  to make it crunchy and satisfying. The combo of coconut, dark chocolate, and coffee really can’t be beat!

The Bottom Line

Eat Your Coffee Bars are delicious, good for you and will actually wake your a$$ up! Whether you’re a coffee addict (like myself) or just want a healthy, easy way to get energized, these bars are for you! To make things even better, this company is part of The Chain Collaborative, a non-profit that supports coffee producers in Nicaragua and Guatemala. Awesome!

Thank you, Eat Your Coffee, for sending me these fantastic bars to review! I highly recommend them!

July’s Treasure Hunt

I’ve found a lot of great vegan snack foods this month… So let’s dive right in!

First up, are Margherita Pizza Plentils. These little lentil based chips are an absolute miracle! I had my doubts when it came to the “pizza” flavor, but Damn! The cheesy, zesty flavor kicked me right in the taste buds and I devoured the entire bag. I found these at Whole Foods, and will definitely be trying out the other flavors. You’re welcome.

Like mint and chocolate? Kind Bar Dark Chocolate Almond Mint bar will not disappoint! I used to love York Peppermint Patties, but they contain egg whites for some reason, so I haven’t had one in a very long time.  These Kind Bars have crunchy almonds, rich dark chocolate, and a surprisingly strong mint flavor.  Try one and let me know what you think!

So Delicous Cashewmilk Snickerdoodle Ice Cream… I’ve heard great things about this stuff, but I’ve only had actual Snickerdoodle cookies once or twice, so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to pay $6 for this.  Well, on a late night shopping trip, I bought it. This stuff is good! It’s made with cashew milk, so it’s super creamy. There’s a strong cinnamon flavor, and there are pieces of Snickerdoodle cookie dough throughout. The flavor is spot on!

Califia Farms Full Shot Cold Brew is phenomenal! If you’ve read my blog before, or follow me on IG, you might know that I’m a coffee addict to the billionth degree, and I love trying out new caffeinated drinks. This drink has much caffeine as a cup of coffee and also has added protein, so it’s awesome as a snack/pick me up. Just remember to shake it up before you drink it!
What have you found this month??
