Reviews:

Let me start out by saying that my hair is super curly and dry. I have a hard time finding products that will moisturize my hair, enhance my curls, and fight frizz without weighing it down.

I am thrilled to share these products from Evolvh with you… I’m in love!

The SmartCurl line is a newly released range of products that are formulated to specifically address the needs of curly hair that I mentioned above.

Let’s start with the SmartCurl Hydrating Wash. In all honesty, I would buy this shampoo based on the scent alone! It smells SO fresh and clean with hints of florals and fruit. Its AH-MAZING! The formula is thick and luxurious and you only need a small amount of product to work into a rich lather. It rinses out easily and leaves your hair feeling thoroughly cleansed without being stripped of natural oils.

This shampoo contains nourishing plant-based ingredients like almond oil, kiwi seed oil, seaweed extract, mango, sunflower, wild pansy, and passion flower. No wonder it smells so good!

The SmartCurl Hydrating Conditioner has the same intoxicating scent as the shampoo (YASSS!). It also contains tons of plant-based, good-for-your-locks ingredients. Essential amino acids, fatty acids and botanicals work together to strengthen and soften your curls while fighting frizz. The consistency is thick (I don’t trust thin, drippy conditioners… they slide right out of your hair and barely moisturize), and easily works through even the most tangled of manes. As I do with all of my conditioners, I left this in my hair for about five minutes. It rinsed out quickly and my hair was tangle-free and ready to be styled.

The SmartStart Leave-in Conditioner contains fun, natural ingredients like oils from pumpkin seed, red raspberry seed, cranberry seed, citrus orange, grapefruit peel, patchouli and lemon peel. Whoa! So much plant-based goodness in one bottle! As you can imagine, it smells like a sweet, fruit-filled paradise!

When my hair was damp, I sprayed about 7 or 8 pumps on my just-past-shoulder-length hair. I combed it through with my fingers and just let it soak in. I usually use gel in my hair, but for the purposes of this review, I just let it air dry without any additional products.

The Bottom Line

I can’t think of anything negative to say about these products! After using them, my curls looked hydrated, defined, and bouncy! My frizz was drastically reduced and my hair smelled absolutely amazing! My hair was manageable, free of tangles, and just looked healthy! My sad little curls have definitely met their haircare soulmate!

I highly recommend these products! Thank you, Evolvh, for sending me these products to review!
