“OM BOTANICAL is a beautifully handmade brand of truly natural and organic skin and body care products. The decision as to what goes into our non-toxic products and what stays out is based totally on the safety and efficacy of the final product. Our scientists study the bio-activity of plant molecules, identify the ingredients that work in synergy with your skin’s inherent mechanisms and then develop formulations for specific applications. It is this process that led to the development of this therapeutic brand of 100% natural and organic skin and body care products. Our botanical ingredients are not only the safest, but also have the most powerful healing and renewing properties available.”

Reviews:

The Anti-Hair Loss Organic Shampoo is made with soapnuts and all natural ingredients that have not been chemically processed or bleached, which gives this shampoo a “natural tint and earthy fragrance.” The claims of this Ayurvedic formula include that this shampoo prevents hair loss and dandruff and it is a natural DHT blocker. DHT  (dihydrotestosterone) is a naturally occurring chemical in the body that has been said to contribute to hair loss.

This shampoo is also sulfate Free, silicone free, and color safe. Soap nut extract, aloe vera, olive and pumpkin seed oil, vitamin B3 and B6, and Wild Peppermint oil create a moisturizing and nourishing shampoo that does not dry out or damage the hair.

It is a low-lathering since it does not contain sulfates, and the thin consistency provides gentle cleansing. I enjoy using this shampoo because the peppermint oil creates a cool and refreshing treat for my scalp. Both my hair and scalp felt clean and rejuvenated after using this. I do not suffer from hair loss, so as far as preventing hair loss goes, I cannot speak about it. However, you know when you’re getting ready to get out of the shower and you look down to see a bunch of hair stuck in the drain (please tell me it’s not only me!)? I did notice that I did have less breakage and less hair left in the shower… perhaps because this shampoo is low-lathering and didn’t rough up my hair? Interesting…

The One Step Fash Wash is a multifunctional product that cleanses, removes makeup, exfoliates, and tones. It has a slightly earthy yet sweet and fruity scent, and the consistency is very thick, so once you start working it into your skin, it does not drip off. The instructions indicate that you are supposed to massage the cleanser into your wet skin for 1 minute. Although it is recommended on the bottle to use a moisturizer afterward, my skin did not feel overly dry.

Aloe vera juice, castor oil, witch hazel, pineapple, lime, and chamomile account for this cleansers ability to remove all traces of makeup and oil while leaving your face feeling soft, soothed, healthy, and thoroughly cleaned. This one is a winner in my book!

The Bottom Line

OM BOTANICAL makes effective, all natural products that are cruelty-free and vegan (hooray!). They base their formulations on science, not trends. In fact, the labels of these products contain A LOT of information and its a bit like reading a science textbook. Yay for science! Get smarter as you shower!!

I genuinely enjoyed using these products, and recommend that you give OM BOTANICAL a try! Head on over to their website to learn more about the science and values behind the brand!
