Kiss My Face Dry Oil Sunscreen

Brand: Kiss My Face

Product: Dry Oil Spray Sunscreen SPF 15

Review:

Ok… when I got this in the mail a few hours ago, I just HAD to try it out! It’s a beautiful day here, so why not?

This spray is, like it says in the name, a dry oil. So when you spray it on in a thin layer, you really don’t even have to rub it into your skin. This spray is air powered, by the way, so you can feel good about not putting harmful gases into the atmosphere! Science!

The smell of this Sunscreen instantly reminded me of summer and the beach. It’s a delightful mix of coconuts and suntan oil and I LOVE it!

So… did it actually protect my skin? It says right on the can that it protects against UVA and UVB rays, and is water resistant for a full 80 minutes. Sounds good to me!

Now, I don’t know if you know this, but I’m pale. Not just pale, but SUPER PALE. My skin honestly burns within just a few minutes, so I was a little nervous to use such a low SPF.

Well, I gave myself a few good sprays on my arms, neck, and chest and sat in the sun for about 25 minutes (anything for the animals!).

I’m happy to report that a few hours later, I am NOT SUNBURNT! Yes, I most certainly got some color, but my skin isn’t tomato red,  burnt to a crisp and/or peeling like it usually does after time in the sun! This sunscreen also contains Vitamin E and coconut oil so it moisturizer as it protects (score!).

The Bottom Line

I love the smell of this sunscreen, the way it applies, and the fact that it is air powered, vegan, and cruelty free. Without a doubt, it did protect me from the sun and I will continue to use it! I would recommend this to just about everyone, but I would warn my fellow pastey people that they need to be aware of how their skin is doing while out in the sun to avoid burning. Kiss My Face also makes other sunscreens that offer more protection, so I will be checking those out as well.

Good Job, Kiss My Face on another awesome product! Thank you for sending me this sunscreen to review!
