This is a screenshot from The Humane Society of the United States… we are getting closer and closer to eliminating animal testing in the cosmetics industry! Please click the link below to call/email your legislator and to send out a prewritten letter to help this cause (Click on the ACT NOW option with the bunnies!). I sent emails to 3 state reps, and even the White House! Every little bit helps! This is a dream, and it is almost coming true! Please help!

I hope you don’t mind that I reblogged your post. I just was so excited about it!

Reblogged this on Whine and Vegan Cheese and commented:
This is such an important message! Thank you to vegantreasurehunter at for sharing the link and writing this post. Animals do NOT need to suffer for us to look beautiful. There are other methods of testing cosmetics that are even moer accurate and reliable. Furthermore, I don’t know about you, but if there is something in a brand of eyeshadow that a company is concerned might cause people to go blind, I don’t want to wear it anyway! I only want safe, organic, and natural products and ingredients on my skin! If we can help make unnecessary suffering end, why wouldn’t we?!?

I agree! Make it safe in the first place, and everyone’s good! Thanks for signing the petition (from all the little animals everywhere!).

I love this! I joined the debate club both in middle and elementary school simply for the fact that I could debate against animal testing. In fact, for some reason, I was just thinking about how I would never be okay wearing an eye shadow that was tested on a rabbit (thinking back to some of the pictures I would show). I mean stop putting potentially dangerous stuff in make up in the first place, right? Anyways thanks for the link. I know how I’ll be spending my lunch break tomorrow!
